A super rare, investment grade, ladies Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust with an absolutely stunningly vibrant Malachite (stone) dial.
Having been in this trade since 1975 I have seen thousands of different dial combinations but I have to say that this is quite easily one of the most beautiful that Rolex have ever produced.
Malachite has been used over the centuries to enhance and compliment gold. The Romans worked it into their finest jewellery and it has been used to adorne some of the World’s most beautiful objects since.
Here Rolex used a beautiful piece of Malachite in the ladies flagship model, and what a beautiful example it is. Today this watch would retail for more than £22,000 UK pounds and it is easy to see why.
