Description
A very rare and quite exquisite 9ct yellow gold Rolex watch from the Art Deco period offering super safe and very sound investment potential.
These gold models are now extremely difficult to find, particularly in such fabulous condition.
This beautiful piece is lightly polished with a beautifully and correctly restored, antique cream dial, original gun metal blue hands and red 12.
Very rare swivel lugs, the screw down coin edged case has no dents, dings or bruises and the watch is triple Rolex signed to the case, dial and movement, which has just been serviced.
Suitable for everyday wear, this fine piece of Rolex history is ticking away nicely and keeping good time.
Glasgow Hallmarked for the year 1926.
All gold watches sold in the UK must be hallmarked by law and back in the day Rolex would ship the case to the United Kingdom for Assay and then the case would be returned to Geneva for the movement to be fitted, and then the watch in its entirety would be sent by ship and rail back to the UK for retail. An amazing journey before it even began its life!
Size is approx. 34mm wide but this includes the crown, a full size gents watch back in the day, but in modern times a size worn by both ladies and gents and hugely suitable for either.
Fitted on a new (non Rolex) 12mm brown leather strap, comes with a 3 months all parts and labour warranty, insurance valuation documents and a guarantee of authenticity.
Supplied in our own presentation box for delivery purposes. A very highly recommended timepiece that would be hard to replace.
