A rare and mint 8 sided vintage 9ct pink gold Rolex that is UK hallmarked for the year 1928 and in utterly mint condition in every way.
Rolex did make some unusual cases back in the day and this is certainly one of those. Watch is supplied on a new (Non Rolex) replacement strap.
A beautifully restored Silver sunburst dial with Deco hour markers, red 12 and gun metal blue hands, this watch is very striking indeed from tip to toe.
Triple Rolex signed to the case, dial and movement, complete with correct UK Hallmarks, this watch is 100% guaranteed authentic as always.
Case size is 30mm wide – 35mm high including lugs.
Glasgow Hallmarked for the year 1928. All gold watches sold in the UK must be hallmarked by law and back in the day Rolex would ship the case to the United Kingdom for Assay and then the case would be returned to Geneva for the movement to be fitted, and then the watch in its entirety would be sent by ship and rail back to the UK for retail. An amazing journey before it even began its life!
At the time this was a full size gents watch, but today could be worn by a gentleman who prefers a small discreet timepiece or, a lady who prefers a slightly larger watch.
As with all our vintage watches this piece has been fully cleaned, serviced and sympathetically restored to its former glory by our Rolex trained technician.
