A very rare 9ct yellow gold vintage ladies Rolex watch of the type that is becoming harder and harder to find as we approach the 100th anniversary of the birth of this timepiece. (Our stock ref #A287) Ten years ago we were able to find such a watch with relative ease within the trade, but today they have mostly been sucked from the market by collectors in the US, China and Russia, leaving Western Europe in short supply of such models. This wonderful example is newly cleaned, polished and serviced and benefits from being fully restored to precise original specification by experts and is now in antique mint condition. It is running well and keeping good “antique time” (it not like a quartz watch of course!) and is completely dent and ding free. This watch has a double hinged, 9ct gold Dennison made (for Rolex) case that is signed and UK Hallmarked for the year 1917 precisely.
