A much sought after Stainless Steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date, Rolex ref 16610, with rare ‘Spider Dial’

The term ‘Spider Dial’ comes about due to a fault in the lacquer used by Rolex on just a few dials during the 1980’s.

Over time, the lacquer cracked in an even fashion leaving what appears to be a “Spider Web” across the dial when looked upon from a certain angle.

Some collectors view this as a “grail watch” and put it on par with misprinted stamps of bank notes. Certainly and most definitely a super sound investment with prices absolutely guaranteed to rise significantly in the future as their availability decreases.

In 35 years of Rolex dealing, I’ve only owned half a dozen of these pieces.

Watch has just been serviced and remains in all round excellent condition. Minor surface marks commensurate with age and 100% authenticity,

A super safe and sound investment watch.
