Description
How much of a bargain is this! An utterly mint and virtually unworn, 2013 Chanel J12 Marine, complete with box and papers and so “unworn” that I had to remove some factory stickers to photograph the watch!
Unlike many other timepieces that have a similar appearance (that is, those that are “dive style”), the Chanel J12 Marine is a bona fide diving watch.
Designed to withstand the stresses of a high pressure underwater environment down to 300 meters, this watch is undoubtedly one of the most rugged Chanel luxury watches ever created.
Evidence of this watch’s brawn is immediately apparent, even to the untrained eye; the J12 Marine sports a high-strength anti-reflective sapphire crystal.
Engraved and outfitted with black high-tech ceramic dial with luminescent markers, the unidirectional rotating stainless steel diver’s bezel was designed with ease of orientation in mind, even under the most challenging conditions.
The Chanel J12 Marine has a 42mm wide ceramic case in Marine-style bead-blasted black matte finish.
The screw-down steel crown, sporting a ceramic cabochon, is equipped with a crown protector to prevent damage during vigorous activity.
The Chanel J12 Marine’s dial is black, and bears strongly luminescent hour markings for supreme ease of reading.
The J12 Marine employs mechanical Swiss automatic movement for superior accuracy and a 42-hour power reserve to reduce the need for having to adjust the time, even after an extended period of inactivity.
Finally, a waterproof, vented, shock and UV-resistant matte rubber strap completes the Chanel J12 Marine and further establishes it as one of the most practical Chanel timepieces. List price is £3,500.
Still under Chanel warranty, box and papers dated November 2013 but worn only half a dozen times or less!
