Beautifully engraved on the rear of the case, offering extra provenance, the engraving is dated 1931 which means this watch almost certainly sat un-sold in a high-end Jewellers for 2-3 years before someone who could afford it came along!
Triple Rolex signed to the case, dial and movement, the Rolex Oyster was marketed at the Worlds first waterproof wristwatch, (not guaranteed as such today however) and as such was a roaring success back in the day.
Art Deco style dial, re-finished to precise original specifications, fixed lugs, screw down Oyster crown and fitted on a new replacement leather strap.
