Description
The Millenary, just like the Royal Oak, is a very iconic design from the Swiss powerhouse Audemars Piguet.
This particular model has the very useful complete calendar function (day and month are displayed in the windows, and date is shown around the dial).
It is one of the most useful complications out there, making this version of the Millenary very desirable and collectible among AP aficionados.
It is in mint condition and has recently been fully serviced and re-finished. Comes with AP leather strap and original AP yellow gold buckle.
The crown is set with a precious sapphire cabochon. The level of finishing is amazing on this piece – for example, the clear contrast of polished bezel and matte finished side cases.
AP’s quality of case making and finishing is at the top echelon of Swiss watchmaking.
The dial is very intricate, with 3-dimensional markers, leaflet style blued-steel hands, and guilloche patterns that create an interesting interplay with the light at different angles.
