The case has various ornate design over the whole case which adds an extra quality to the clock.
The clock has huge proportions with it standing 26.25 inches high. To each side their is a lion head and grape vine mount both in excellent condition.
The clock sits on its original bronze base which it is bolted to, the clock it self has two front griffin deigned feet that has high quality to them. The quality of the case is absolutely second to none.
All the decoration to the whole case is in excellent near mint condition and has its totally original bronze ormolu finish.
The clock has huge proportions and measures 26.25 inches high x 15.5 inches wide x 8.25 inches deep.
The clock has its original bronze and porcelain cartouche dial with black roman numerals.
The dial is in excellent condition with all cartouches being original bright and vibrant.
The Clock benefits from an original French 8 day bell striking pendulum movement which strikes the bell on the half and full hour counting the hours on the hour.
Movement is very clean and is in full working order keeping excellent time and striking exactly when it should with its brass pendulum and is supplied with a new winding key.
The movement is very clean and has been fully tested without any faults.
