Tonneau cased Rolex watches are extremely rare and alway fetch a premium price as they are one of the most sought after of all the vintage Rolex cases.
Very few were made and this beauty remains in absolutely immaculate all round condition after being fully cleaned, serviced, polished and restored by experts.
As we moved out of the Art Deco period styles changed slightly but you can clearly see from this watch the remaining Deco in the hour markers.
The case is beautifully signed as is the original, restored dial and movement. This watch would sell for around £6,500 in fancy central London specialist stores.
